In a grim turn of events, a man succumbed to injuries five days after being shot in Camden, marking the fourth fatal shooting reported in the city this month, according to authorities.
The incident unfolded on November 16 at approximately 8:20 p.m. on the 200 block of North 33rd Street. Police swiftly responded to the scene and discovered the victim, identified as 29-year-old Edward Ross, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, as detailed by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office (CCPO).
Ross was urgently transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he remained in critical condition until the tragic moment when he was pronounced dead just before 6:30 p.m. on November 21, according to statements from the CCPO.
As the investigation into this heart-wrenching incident continues, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
