Winslow Township, New Jersey — The search efforts are still underway for a beloved South Jersey grandmother who has been missing for several weeks. Norma Yates, 62 years old and a resident of Somerdale, was last seen on July 29 around 5 p.m. at a residence on Vineyard Road in the Atco section of Winslow Township. The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons and Human Trafficking Unit, in collaboration with the township police, are actively seeking any information that might lead to her whereabouts.
Authorities have not yet disclosed any details regarding the circumstances of Norma’s disappearance. However, her family, particularly her daughter Nichole, is deeply concerned about the situation.
In a heartfelt Facebook post on August 10, Nichole expressed her worry, emphasizing that her mother would never willingly leave her family. She further shared, “Her life is filled with pure joy from her grandbabies, and her constant presence in our life has us deeply concerned that there has been foul play.”
Norma Yates is described by the police as a white woman with gray/brown hair and hazel eyes. She stands at 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 130 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a gray tank top layered over a purple one, along with blue denim shorts.
The community’s help is vital in finding Norma and bringing her back to her family.
