Samaritan is gearing up for their 2024 “Drive FORE! A Good Cause” golf tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. This 18-hole, scramble-format tournament will kick off with registration at 10:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11:15 a.m., and will conclude with a reception and awards dinner around 4:30 p.m. All proceeds from the event will support Samaritan’s comprehensive services, benefiting seriously ill patients, their families, and those grieving a loss.

“Each year, our annual golf tournament serves as a wonderful opportunity for the community to unite in support of our patients across South Jersey and our commitment to providing quality, life-enhancing care,” says Phillip W. Heath, president and CEO of Samaritan. “This event’s success is due to the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and the dedication of our Samaritan golf committee, co-chaired by Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio. We are deeply grateful to everyone involved.”

This year’s tournament will once again feature the Lexus Champions for Charity, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, offering an exclusive chance to play at the famous Pebble Beach. This unique auction opportunity will take place during the post-event banquet, with proxy bidding available for those unable to attend. Additionally, there will be on-course contests, a 50/50 raffle, and more, sponsored by Challenge Sponsor Mancine Optical. For full details, visit Samaritan’s event page: www.SamaritanNJ.org/Golf.

An online auction featuring exclusive rounds of golf, sports tickets, and other exciting prizes will accompany the tournament. This allows both golfers and non-attendees to bid on a variety of items. The online auction will open on Monday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m., with pre-registration available at www.SamaritanNJ.org/Golf.

While all golfing spots for this year’s tournament are filled, there is a dinner-only ticket option available for $100 per person. This option allows supporters to attend the awards reception and dinner, starting around 4:30 p.m., after the golfers have completed their rounds.
