Samaritan is excited to announce the grand unveiling of its annual Celebration of Life Gala, proudly presented by Holman Enterprises. The Gala will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, starting at 6 p.m. at the enchanting DoubleTree by Hilton in Cherry Hill, NJ. This yearly fundraising extravaganza is a time to celebrate Samaritan’s remarkable 43 years of offering an ever-expanding array of life-enriching care to over 11,000 families annually in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer counties.
“As our premier event, the Gala allows us to honor our mission to serve while recognizing all the generous people who make our organization uniquely Samaritan – team members, volunteers, Board members, community partners, supporters, advocates, and, most importantly, our patients and their families,” commented Phillip W. Heath, President and CEO of Samaritan.
The 2024 Gala promises a delightful experience, complete with delectable cuisine, live music performed by the talented Masquerade, a chance to dance the night away, and much more! Steering the 2024 Gala Committee are Honorary Co-Chairs Mindy Holman and Frank Beideman, both esteemed residents of Moorestown, NJ, with a long history of supporting Samaritan and the South Jersey community.
“Mindy and Frank are passionate advocates for Samaritan and visionary leaders, making them the perfect choice to lead this year’s Gala committee,” added Heath. “Along with their fellow committee members, they are dedicated to raising awareness of Samaritan’s work throughout the community while making this year’s Celebration of Life event our best yet.”
Every year at the Gala, Samaritan pays tribute to individuals and organizations that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Samaritan, as well as the broader South Jersey community. Samaritan is thrilled to reveal its 2024 honorees:

- Kyle Ruffin, the author of “In Stroke’s Shadow: My Caregiver Story,” from Hainesport, NJ

Individual tickets for this year’s Gala are priced at $275 each. Every dollar raised during the evening, including proceeds from the Delightful Dining raffle and online auction, will contribute to the direct care of Samaritan patients and their families across South Jersey.
