This marks the third Southern chicken haven to grace South Jersey, riding the coattails of the chain’s recent expansion spree, with locations popping up in Burlington earlier this year and Marlton just last month.
Raising Cane’s, boasting close to 800 locations nationwide, has become a culinary sensation with its mouthwatering specialties, including signature chicken fingers accompanied by the renowned Cane’s sauce, delectable chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and refreshing sweet tea.
What sets Cherry Hill’s Raising Cane’s apart is its distinct local theme that pays homage to the community. The dining area is adorned with high school yearbooks from Camden Catholic High School (1960) and Haddon Township High School (1964), creating a nostalgic ambiance. Graphics featuring notable South Jersey natives like actresses Ali Larter and Cristin Milioti, singer-songwriter Toby Lightman, and actress and model Lauren Cohan add a touch of local flair to the restaurant.
Located at 2014 Route 70 W, the Cherry Hill Raising Cane’s welcomes patrons from 9 a.m. to midnight on Sunday through Wednesday and extends its hours to 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday. The grand opening has also brought about 130 job opportunities to the area, contributing to the local economy.
As Raising Cane’s continues to spread its wings in the region, with additional locations in the pipeline for Deptford, Glassboro, Lawnside, and Turnersville, the chicken landscape in Cherry Hill is undergoing a delightful transformation. Notable changes include Chick-fil-A’s relocation to the Garden State Pavilions, complete with a two-lane drive-thru, while PDQ bid farewell to Cherry Hill and Sicklerville last fall. Excitement is on the horizon as Dave’s Hot Chicken plans to join the scene in the Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center this spring.
