Ryan Howard and Charlie Manuel, two beloved figures in Phillies history, will headline a star-studded fundraiser in Cherry Hill.
The Katz Jewish Community Center (JCC) is set to host its Sports Awards later this month, celebrating influential sports figures and community leaders from across the tri-state area. This year’s event promises an exciting lineup featuring some of the Phillies’ finest.
Ryan Howard will take the stage as the keynote speaker, accompanied by a special appearance from Charlie Manuel. Larry Bowa, a former Phillies player and manager now serving in the team’s front office, will moderate the event. The trio will share insights into the positive impact of sports on their lives and honor this year’s award recipients.
The Sports Awards event is scheduled for June 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Katz JCC, located at 1301 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support financial assistance and services for children to join youth-sports leagues, wellness classes, and other health and fitness programs.
General admission tickets are priced at $125. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from some of the Phillies’ greats while supporting a worthy cause in our community.
