Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development, Inc. (MEND) proudly announces the appointment of seven esteemed community leaders and residents to its Board of Trustees. These new members bring a wealth of diverse expertise and perspectives to MEND’s mission of providing affordable rental housing for low and moderate-income households.
The newly appointed board members are:
- Joel Boehmler – St. Matthew Lutheran Church
- Michael Brennan – MEND resident
- Rev. Wenda Clarke – Second Baptist Church
- Karen Douglass – Trinity Episcopal Church
- Ben Morris – Moorestown Monthly Meeting
- Kylthia Roberts – Bethel AME Church
- Brandy Ross – MEND resident
“We are thrilled to welcome our new board members, each of whom embodies the spirit of our community,” said Eileen Wirth, President and CEO of MEND. “Their passion, expertise, and commitment to our cause will be invaluable as we continue our mission of providing affordable housing.”
Wirth also expressed gratitude to outgoing board members whose terms have concluded, including Mary Anne O’Meara from Moorestown Monthly Meeting, Gail Bish from Second Baptist Church, Freida Morgan – a MEND resident, and Florence Collins from Bethel AME.
