In a unique and heartwarming celebration, Virtua Voorhees Hospital in South Jersey marked Leap Day with a birthday party to welcome their special leap year babies. Occurring only once every four years, Leap Day, on February 29th, brought joy and excitement as the hospital recorded a remarkable count of 17 babies born on this rare date.
Among this batch of Leap Day babies were the Parker twins, whose arrival was a cause for celebration. Monesia Parker, the twins’ mother, expressed her happiness, stating, “We’re happy they’re here, that’s the most important part. It’s unusual but they’re here.”
The Leap Day festivities at Virtua Voorhees Hospital highlighted the extraordinary nature of these births, creating cherished memories for the families and hospital staff alike. As these little leapsters begin their journey, the community comes together to celebrate the unique joy these special deliveries bring.
