Ira and Bernadette Guttman, the former proprietors of MoonDog Grill and Cool Dog Cafe in Cherry Hill, have embarked on their latest culinary venture with the opening of Take 5 Cafe in Mount Laurel.
Take 5 Cafe, a coffeehouse and dessert eatery, has found its home in the Bank of America Plaza on Route 38 in Mount Laurel. Operating hours for this establishment are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
The Guttman duo has a rich history of managing local eateries, which includes Cool Dog Cafe in Cherry Hill, a beloved spot that eventually closed its doors in 2015. Subsequently, Ira Guttman and Shawn Harwood, co-owners of Cool Dog Cafe, pursued different paths. While Harwood ventured into the realm of Starr Restaurants in Philadelphia, Ira Guttman went on to establish MoonDog Grill.
MoonDog Grill, which became a mall favorite, operated for seven years before its closure on December 31.
Now, the Guttmans are excited to bring their culinary expertise to Take 5 Cafe, providing Mount Laurel residents and visitors with delightful coffee and dessert offerings.
