A recent collision on Interstate 295 in Cherry Hill resulted in one driver being hospitalized with minor injuries, according to officials.
The incident occurred around noon on Monday when state troopers responded to reports of a crash on I-295 south. Preliminary investigations indicate that a BMW traveling southbound collided with tire debris, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
The driver sustained minor injuries in the single-vehicle collision and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The collision occurred just north of Kresson Road, leading to delays on I-295. While officials initially closed the shoulder, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
As investigations continue, motorists are reminded to stay vigilant while driving and to exercise caution, especially on busy highways like I-295.
