Exciting news for Cherry Hill residents and thrift enthusiasts! The Plaza at Cherry Hill is getting a new addition in the form of Savers, a popular national chain specializing in secondhand goods. With over 300 locations nationwide, Savers has already established itself in Pennsauken, and now it’s set to make its mark in Cherry Hill.
The new Savers store will occupy an expansive 25,000 square feet space within the plaza, located at 2100 Route 38. While the exact opening date is yet to be announced, residents can look forward to its arrival soon.
This expansion of the Plaza at Cherry Hill comes amid several other significant changes to the shopping center in recent months. One of the notable developments includes Total Wine & More, which has moved to a new space within the plaza, doubling its size and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
With Savers joining the retail mix, the plaza has achieved an impressive 82 percent occupancy rate, as reported by Urban Edge Properties, the real estate investment trust that owns the shopping center.
Justin Lustig, Vice President of Leasing at Urban Edge Properties, expressed excitement about the revitalization taking place at the Plaza at Cherry Hill. He stated, “With Savers opening this year and the brand-new Total Wine store fully operational, the Plaza at Cherry Hill is experiencing a terrific revitalization. Savers brings a great concept and new use to the property that complements our other tenants and will draw shoppers from an even wider radius.”
The Plaza at Cherry Hill already boasts a diverse array of national brands, including Aldi, LA Fitness, and Raymour & Flanigan, and the addition of Savers is expected to further enrich the shopping experience for visitors.
As the opening date draws near, anticipation builds for the arrival of Savers in Cherry Hill, where thrifty shoppers can look forward to discovering unique treasures and contributing to the vibrant retail scene in the area.
