In the midst of the digital age, where online deals are at our fingertips, the classic tradition of Black Friday shopping continues, and Cherry Hill Mall is gearing up with extended hours to accommodate the bustling holiday season.
On Black Friday, Cherry Hill Mall will open its doors bright and early at 7 a.m., offering shoppers an extensive window to explore deals until 10 p.m. The mall will be closed on Thanksgiving, emphasizing the importance of the holiday.
Following the Black Friday extravaganza, Cherry Hill Mall will return to its regular schedule, open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays (Monday through Saturday) and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
As the holiday spirit intensifies, the mall will extend its hours starting from December 15:
- December 15-16: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- December 17: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- December 18-23: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- December 24 (Christmas Eve): 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cherry Hill Mall will be closed on Christmas Day and resume operations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December 26.
While shoppers eagerly anticipate scoring holiday deals, the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT), Cherry Hill Mall’s owner, is urging patience. Recognizing staffing challenges during the holiday season, PREIT appreciates shoppers’ cooperation and understanding as retailers and restaurants navigate this busy time. The company encourages those seeking seasonal employment to check each mall’s website for available positions.
PREIT itself is at a critical crossroads, facing financial challenges with $1.1 billion in debt payments due by December 10, as revealed in recent filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Despite this, the corporation, which also owns Moorestown Mall, is actively engaged in discussions with lenders to devise a restructuring plan. PREIT assures shoppers that they do not anticipate any service interruptions during this process or potential transactions, ensuring a seamless holiday shopping experience.
