Unfortunately, beer enthusiasts in Camden County will have to wait a bit longer to enjoy their favorite brews as the inaugural Spring on Tap Beer Festival has been postponed due to the rainy forecast.

Originally scheduled to take place at Veteran’s Island in Cooper River Park on Sunday, coinciding with Cinco de Mayo, the event will now be rescheduled for a later date.

The decision comes as meteorologists predict showers and even thunderstorms throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Spring on Tap promised craft beers from seven local breweries, complemented by food trucks, live music, and vendors. Organized by the Camden County Commissioner Board and Visit South Jersey, the festival aimed to celebrate the vibrant beer culture in the region.
