The much-anticipated return of Buy Buy Baby is on the horizon, and it’s under new ownership. Cherry Hill residents can rejoice as the retailer is poised to reopen, bringing a wide array of baby and parenting products to the area.
The grand reopening of the Cherry Hill Buy Buy Baby store is scheduled for November 18 at 10 a.m., much to the delight of local families.
Previously, Buy Buy Baby was part of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April last year. At that time, the Cherry Hill location and others were at risk of permanent closure. However, a ray of hope emerged when Dream On Me Industries, a long-time supplier of baby goods to Buy Buy Baby, acquired the leases for 11 of the store’s locations, including Cherry Hill’s, at a bankruptcy auction.
Bankruptcy proceedings had necessitated the temporary closure of Buy Buy Baby stores. But with Dream On Me Industries at the helm, these stores are set to reopen and continue serving their communities.
On the day of the grand reopening, Cherry Hill residents can look forward to exciting giveaways, the presence of parenting experts, and a delightful array of snacks and beverages. New Jersey will see four Buy Buy Baby locations in total, with stores also reopening in Bridgewater, Paramus, and Woodbridge.
The renewed stores will carry many of the same brands as before, ensuring that customers can access the baby products they trust. However, it’s important to note that no refunds will be accepted for items purchased before August 1.
During the bankruptcy proceedings of Bed Bath & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby was recognized as one of the retailer’s more valuable assets, garnering interest from several potential buyers eager to secure the brand’s future.
Dream On Me Industries, headquartered in Somerset, doesn’t maintain a traditional brick-and-mortar presence. Instead, it distributes its products through a network of prominent retail partners, including Amazon, Burlington, Kohl’s, Target, The Home Depot, and Walmart.
The Cherry Hill Buy Buy Baby store can be found at 1590 Kings Highway N, situated within the Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center. The grand reopening promises to be a treat for parents, caregivers, and all those welcoming new additions to their families.
