Cherry Hill Mall, NJ — Authorities are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Cherry Hill Mall on Friday, prompting an urgent appeal for information from the public. The incident unfolded just before 10:45 a.m. at Philly Diamond Connection, a jewelry store situated within the mall.
According to mall management, two suspects, armed with firearms, entered the store and held employees at gunpoint while forcibly gaining access to the store’s safe. Following the robbery, the unidentified assailants quickly fled the mall premises and made their getaway in a black SUV with no license plates. The vehicle was parked on the south side of the mall lot and was last seen traveling eastbound on Church Road.
Law enforcement is now seeking assistance from the community to identify and apprehend the suspects. Witnesses provided descriptions of the individuals involved:
- A Black male with a medium build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, and khaki pants.
- A Hispanic or Black male with a medium complexion and a thin build, dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
Both suspects had their faces partially covered with masks, as depicted in the provided photos.
