In what has come to be known as a “toxic tour” of Camden, concerned citizens, environmental advocates, and representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office gathered on a bus this Tuesday morning. Their mission: to shine a spotlight on the rampant issue of illegal dumping that continues to plague the city.
Among those on the tour was Vida Neil, a resident of the Whitman Park neighborhood, who expressed her concerns about the situation.
“What I’m hoping for is a significant improvement and a cleaner Camden,” said Vida Neil.
