Sharpe has been part of the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey team since 2015
The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey (RMHSNJ) Board of Trustees has announced the appointment of Tracey Sharpe as its new Executive Director. Sharpe, who has been serving as the Interim Director since October 2023, has been a dedicated member of the RMHSNJ team since 2015. With a career deeply rooted in social service and strengthening the fiscal health of South Jersey area non-profits, Sharpe is well-prepared to lead RMHSNJ.
Sharpe brings extensive experience in fundraising and leadership to her new role. Her work has earned recognition from notable non-profit organizations across South Jersey and the Philadelphia region, including The Urban League of Philadelphia, Bunker Labs, St. John of God Community Services, and AmeriCorps.
Throughout her career, Sharpe has demonstrated expertise in all aspects of non-profit management and direct service. She has successfully led staff teams, developed robust fund development systems, crafted strategic plans, and spearheaded capital campaign initiatives.
Sharpe began her journey with RMHSNJ as a Grant Writer, raising over $2 million for the charity. Over the past nine years, she has seamlessly transitioned into roles as Major Gift Officer and Interim Director.
“Tracey Sharpe’s extensive experience, both behind the scenes and on the front lines of non-profits, has uniquely prepared her for this role,” said Brett Levin, Vice Chairman of the RMHSNJ Board of Trustees. “Her passion for the children and families we serve is evident in her everyday interactions with our guests and in her communications with donors, sponsors, and hospital partners.”
Sharpe lives in South Jersey with her husband and their two children.

Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey (RMHSNJ) is one of 386 international Ronald McDonald Houses. Established in 1983, RMHSNJ is celebrating 41 years of service this year. The organization has provided a “home-away-from-home” for more than 29,500 families whose children are receiving life-saving treatments for critical illnesses and traumatic injuries. Additionally, RMHSNJ serves an additional 12,000 families annually in the South Jersey community through its Hospital Family Room Programs. Each year, approximately 550 families from various countries and every state in the U.S. stay with RMHSNJ. The organization’s mission is to alleviate the daily stressors of life for these families so they can fully concentrate on their children’s medical treatments.
