Gia N. Gupta and Sophia Y. Liu, both students at Cherry Hill High School East, have been named recipients of the esteemed $2,500 National Merit Scholarships. Their exceptional achievements place them among the 2,500 students nationwide who have received this distinguished recognition this year.
Liu, with aspirations in the field of computer science, and Gupta, whose future path is still under consideration, have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess and dedication to their studies. Their commitment to excellence has rightfully earned them this coveted scholarship.
The selection process for the National Merit Scholarship involves a rigorous evaluation, where students become eligible based on their PSAT scores. Subsequently, they submit essays, recommendations, grades, and other pertinent materials, culminating in the final rounds of consideration.
