South Jersey residents will soon have a new spot to satisfy their late-night sweet tooth cravings as Insomnia Cookies prepares to open its doors in Cherry Hill.
Renowned for its warm, freshly baked cookies delivered until the wee hours of the morning, Insomnia Cookies is set to bring its delectable treats to the Cherry Hill area in the near future. While an official opening date for the Cherry Hill store has yet to be announced, eager cookie enthusiasts can anticipate its arrival in the coming months, according to a spokesperson for the company.
Located at 1006 Haddonfield Rd., the Cherry Hill location is currently in the process of hiring staff members to join its team.
The roots of Insomnia Cookies trace back to a late-night craving shared among college friends at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, including Seth Berkowitz, who later founded the company. Three years after that fateful night, the first Insomnia Cookies bakery opened its doors in Syracuse, New York. Since then, the brand has expanded significantly, boasting over 200 locations across the country. Despite its headquarters being in Philadelphia, Cherry Hill will soon be home to South Jersey’s sole Insomnia Cookies outpost.
Operating hours typically begin at 10 a.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends, extending until 3 a.m. each night. Alongside their signature warm cookies, Insomnia Cookies also offers a variety of indulgent treats, including ice cream and brownies.
Stay tuned for updates as the grand opening of Insomnia Cookies in Cherry Hill approaches, promising to delight locals with irresistible late-night delights straight from the oven.
