Samaritan recently celebrated its dedicated employees for their unwavering commitment and exceptional service at the 2024 Winterfest celebration. This annual event, held by Samaritan, serves as a heartfelt tribute to the hard work, excellence, and compassionate care provided by the organization’s invaluable team members and community volunteers.

At Winterfest, Samaritan’s President and CEO, Phillip W. Heath, personally recognized several long-standing members of the Samaritan family for their milestone years of service and outstanding contributions to the organization:

30 Years:

  • Susan Fisher: Fisher’s remarkable journey at Samaritan spans three decades, during which she has held various pivotal roles, showcasing her dedication and versatility. From Lead On-call RN to Clinical Manager of Access and On-Call, Fisher’s enthusiasm, positivity, and ambition have been invaluable assets to Samaritan’s clinical management team.

  • Joanne Rosen: Joining Samaritan in 1994, Rosen has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s engagement with the community. Rising from Director of Marketing to Chief Marketing and Public Affairs Officer, her leadership, passion, and compassion have left an indelible mark on Samaritan’s outreach efforts over the past thirty years.

25 Years:

  • Sharine Earlie: As an experienced Home Health Aide, Earlie embodies dedication and compassion in her interactions with patients. Known for her unwavering commitment to honoring patients’ wishes and ensuring their dignity, Earlie’s caring nature has touched countless lives during her tenure at Samaritan.

20 Years:

  • Stephen Goldfine, MD: Dr. Goldfine’s steadfast commitment to Samaritan’s mission is evident in his role as Physician Executive. With over two decades of service, his leadership and expertise have been instrumental in providing exemplary care to thousands of patients and families annually.

Heath also presented special recognition awards to two employees for their exceptional service and dedication:

  • Judy Taylor Award for Certified Home Health Aide Service Excellence – James Stewart of Bellmawr: Stewart’s compassionate approach and willingness to go above and beyond make him a valued asset to Samaritan’s team, embodying the organization’s commitment to excellence in patient care.

  • Bridget Flynn Nesko Excellence in Service Award – Kimberley A. Corda, RN of Newfield: Corda’s unwavering dedication to providing compassionate end-of-life care reflects Samaritan’s core values. Her commitment to excellence and comfort has made a profound impact on both patients and their families.

Heath expressed his gratitude to all honorees, acknowledging their immense contributions to Samaritan’s mission of providing life-enhancing care.
