In a compassionate effort to assist South Jersey families navigating the challenging journey of loss, Samaritan is proud to host the Healing Hearts Support Group—an in-person gathering tailored to provide solace and support for grieving children and their families.
What to Expect:
This free, half-day session offers a safe and nurturing environment for children and their parents or loved ones to come together and embark on the healing process as a collective. Led by experienced bereavement specialists, the program encompasses a range of activities designed to facilitate healing, including:
- Group Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations and share experiences with others who understand the complexities of grief.
- Interactive Activities: Participate in small group exercises and therapeutic exercises aimed at processing emotions and fostering connections.
- Gardening Project: Each family will have the opportunity to take part in a gardening project, providing a tangible symbol of growth and renewal to cherish at home.
