Get ready, Cherry Hill – the much-anticipated opening of Tommy’s Tavern + Tap is just around the corner, and here’s what you need to know!
After announcing plans last summer to establish a presence in Cherry Hill, the emerging restaurant chain is gearing up to transform the space once occupied by Houlihan’s at 2050 Route 70. While an exact opening date is yet to be revealed, the Triple T Hospitality Group, the parent company of Tommy’s Tavern, anticipates welcoming guests around the end of March.
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap is all about offering a diverse experience for everyone, whether you’re planning a family outing or just stopping by for drinks. The menu boasts a wide range of options, from mouthwatering pizzas and flavorful flatbreads to tantalizing sushi creations. And, of course, there’s a well-curated selection of beer, wine, and cocktails to complement your dining experience.
Named after founder Thomas Bonfiglio, Tommy’s Tavern pays homage to a visionary who steered the chain’s expansion even during the challenging times of the pandemic. Sadly, Bonfiglio passed away in July 2022 at the age of 62, but his family is dedicated to continuing his legacy by running the business.
The Triple T Hospitality Group, founded by Bonfiglio, not only owns all Tommy’s Tavern locations but also operates Tio Taco + Tequila Bar, with four locations, including one in Marlton.
Currently boasting 10 locations, with eight of them in New Jersey, Tommy’s Tavern made its debut in South Jersey last summer with the opening of a branch in Mount Laurel. Now, Cherry Hill eagerly awaits the arrival of this popular establishment, ready to add its own flavor to the local dining scene.
Stay tuned for more updates as Tommy’s Tavern + Tap gets closer to its grand opening, promising an exceptional dining experience that reflects the vision and dedication of its late founder.
