As the holiday spirit fills the air, the residents and social committee members of The Mews at Laurel Creek—Joanie Perry, Lynn Morsell, and Nancy DiNubile—have come together once again to organize the 5th Annual Toy Drive. This heartfelt initiative aims to bring joy to the children and families associated with Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development (MEND).

This year’s toy drive, led by Perry and Morsell since its inception in 2018, has proven to be a tremendous success. The community collected a total of 163 gifts, accompanied by stocking stuffers and an impressive $1,400 in monetary donations and gift cards. All these contributions will directly benefit the Children of MEND Holiday Fund.

Eileen Wirth, MEND’s President and CEO, expressed deep gratitude, stating, “Every year, The Mews residents, Joanie, Lynn, and Nancy truly go above and beyond to ensure that the children of MEND have a nice holiday. We are very grateful for their continued support. Giving to those who need it the most truly captures the meaning of the holidays!”

Perry, Morsell, and DiNubile, along with the entire community, take great joy in supporting the children and families of MEND. Reflecting on the success of the fifth consecutive toy drive, Perry remarked, “It gives our community such pleasure to support the children and families of MEND. Thanks to the generosity of our residents, this is our fifth successful toy drive! We are looking forward to another next year.”
