In a recent, unsettling incident, authorities have identified a Cherry Hill man as the suspect behind a triple stabbing that took place in Glassboro.
The ordeal began when Glassboro Borough police received an emergency call shortly after 11:15 p.m. last Friday, reporting a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered three men from Brick, Ocean County, all suffering from knife wounds, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office (GCPO).
The victims were promptly transported to local hospitals, with two of them heading to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and the third to Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill.
The GCPO, in collaboration with Glassboro police, swiftly launched an investigation, successfully identifying the suspect as Michael Hill, a 20-year-old resident of Cherry Hill. Several hours after the incident, State Police intercepted and apprehended Hill on the shoulder of nearby Route 55.
Hill is now facing charges that include three counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of a weapon. He is currently held in the Salem County Correctional Facility, awaiting further legal proceedings.
