Get ready for a spooktacular event that’s sure to rev up your Halloween spirit! The Y.A.L.E. School NJ, in partnership with the South Jersey Camaro Car Club, is thrilled to announce the very first Halloween at Y.A.L.E. School Car Show. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Y.A.L.E. School’s Ellisburg Campus in Cherry Hill (11 Connecticut Avenue). This fantastic, family-friendly event is absolutely FREE and promises a safe and fun Halloween experience for everyone.

Noah McKay, School-to-Work Supervisor at Y.A.L.E. School and the mastermind behind this exciting Car Show, shares his enthusiasm: “We are excited for the opportunity to host our first-ever Halloween at Y.A.L.E. School Car Show for people of all ages to enjoy. At Y.A.L.E. School, we are always looking for creative opportunities that bring local residents, businesses, and the Y.A.L.E. community together – and what better way than with a trunk-or-treat car show, just in time for Halloween! We planned the event to appeal to kids, teens, and adults so that everyone will have a great time.”

The event will feature a traditional “trunk-or-treat” setup with a delightful array of Halloween-themed decorated cars, delicious food trucks, music, basket auctions, and exciting “Best Of” contests. The judging panel for these contests comprises members of the South Jersey Camaro Car Club and Y.A.L.E. students. What makes this event even more special is that the first 40 winners will receive beautifully crafted trophies, handmade by talented Y.A.L.E. students.

The South Jersey Camaro Car Club, a non-profit organization with 120 dedicated members, has a strong commitment to supporting various local charities and community initiatives, from veterans to animal shelters, food pantries, and the Ronald McDonald House. Linda Murphy, the club’s president, expresses their enthusiasm: “We are not just a club; we are a family and are so pleased to be expanding that family to include Y.A.L.E. School.”

For those eager to showcase their unique vehicles in the Car Show, there’s no need for pre-registration. However, a $20 per car entry fee will be collected on the day of the event. Additionally, all Car Show participants are kindly asked to bring bags of candy to distribute to the event attendees. And as a token of appreciation, the first 100 vehicles joining the Car Show will receive a special dash plaque to commemorate the occasion.

For those simply looking to enjoy the festivities, the event is open to the public and completely free. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to the following day – Sunday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
